Lambayeque – Gigantic billboards on the side of the road are ubiquitous in the united states but you don't see them often in Peru. Typically, the sides of houses, walls and the local geography are painted upon for advertising purposes. Billboards are usually only a simple brick and concrete wall about 15 feet tall. All of them are painted by hand, like this one for a University in Chiclayo being painted on the PanAmerican Highway just south of Lambayeque
