Cerro de Monserrate looms maternally over the city of Bogota and, ascending
to the top of the hill is almost obligatory for
any visitor. Once at the top the Church of Señor Caído is
a haven for devotees and, on the back side of the hill, is a tranquil
pathway marking the stations of the cross.
